How do I find what I'm looking for?

 There are several ways to find what you need. [1] Use the buttons (most have red backgrounds & white letters). All pages have buttons and if you get "lost" just click on the one that says "Home" to return to the start. [2] Use hyperlinks. When you click on a hyperlink you go to that location. Hyperlinks can be text or pictures. Text is blue and underlined. You will see the words "Click here, or click below, etc. on nearly all hyperlinks. [3] Use our site index. On nearly all pages there is a button that says: Site Map/Index. When you click on it you go to the index which is just like an index in a book. Simply find what you want, then click on the words [they are hyperlinks]. [4] Use the search tool. It's on the top left of almost every page. Just type in what you want and you'll be given a list of all the places [pages], in the site where that item is listed. Just review the summary descriptions, and click on the link to go to the page that best fits what you want.

How do I place an order?

 Start by clicking on the selection of your choice, fill in the quantity and then click on the "Add to Cart" button. You'll then see a brief massage on the screen, that your item has been added to the shopping cart, and you will be back to the same page you started with, except the items you checked off [to buy] will now no longer be checked or filled in. You can now move anywhere you want in the site, buy more items, or just "surf". When you are ready, click on the silver button on the left that says "View Cart or Check Out". You next get a message[s] which is an alert to let you know you are going to be on a secure connection, see the FAQ about security for an explanation. Just click OK. You will now go to the Shopping Cart which displays all the items you have marked.  Now you can double check your purchases, and change them if needed. When satisfied, click on 1 of the 3 payment methods in the lower left corner of the form (for an explanation see the FAQ: "Can I order by mail or phone?"). After you select the payment method, click on the button: "Click here to purchase for $x.xx". The next screen will be where you enter name, address, etc.. After that you will either enter payment information [ie: credit card] & then check out; or just check out so you can phone or mail your order. In all cases you will be able to print out the complete details of your order, plus, we send an automatic confirmation.

Can I order by mail or phone?

Absolutely. The shopping cart gives 3 options: [1] Secure on line credit card [2] Credit card by telephone or [3] Check or money order by mail.

Is a personal check OK & how long will it take to clear?

Personal checks are no problem at all. They must clear, however, before we can ship, this will take 15 days. NOTE: If you prefer not using a credit card, but want fast delivery and no extra postage, you can also pay with a Money Order.

How long will it take to get my orderMailbox?

We ship UPS (if you need next day, or air: e-mail delivery  requirements or call us to price your order for special shipment!). Most orders are shipped within 3 business days (Mon. thru Fri., excluding holidays), sooner if possible. However, during the year end holiday season rush (Nov/Dec), it may take an additional day or two to ship your order. We will guarantee same business day shipment (for orders received by Noon EST) for a priority handling charge, you can tell us this when you "check out". Note that UPS will not ship to PO Boxes. We must have a street address. UPS delivery times depend on the destination, and can vary from 1 to 6 days. We can, of course, make expedited shipments [including next day air] but have to charge for this premium service. If you click on the "Ordering Info." button on the left side of one of our web pages, you will go to the Ordering Information, Policies Procedures page. On that page if you click on the red button that says: "UPS Ship Days" you will see a complete map of the USA with a color coded key that gives the average number of days in transit, for UPS, for any destination in the continental United States.

What if I'm not satisfied with my purchase?

 What? What?? WHAT?? We like to think that would never never never happen! SmileyBut, alas,  some day ........it just might..... Frown We will immediately correct any problem, including repair, replacement or refund, depending on the issue. The only thing we ask is that you notify us immediately [within 2 days] so we can help resolve it to your satisfaction.

What about security of my credit card & personal information?

We use the latest SSL [Secure Sockets Layer] technology for encrypting data so it remains safe and secure. SSL sends your credit card and personal information in an encrypted code which can only be decoded by our computer. There has never been a reported case of information sent via computer with SSL that was stolen. GeoTrust is a well known and respected leader in this technology. The certificate in the lower right corner of our Home Page displays the GeoTrust logo. If you click on the logo itself you can get additional information. In addition to making sure no one can get your personal information electronically, we make the commitment that we will NEVER share ANY information about you with anyone, for any reason, period.

I want to talk to a real person!

Sometimes no matter how carefully we try to make sure that there are no unansweredPhone. questions.............like Murphy's Law................there are some. If you need to talk to us, call on our toll free line: [877] 487-4289 Unfortunately, if you need us at midnight or Sunday afternoon you may not be successful in reaching us! So for obvious reasons it's best to call when our store is open (our hours are posted on the Home page of our site). We do check our email frequently however so by all means send us a message. I can't find what I want.......can you help?

We will make every effort to meet your needs. Remember that we carry over 10,000 products in our retail store..............and although we have a very significant number of these items in our web store, you may need something that is not yet on the web site. Let us know [email is best because it becomes an instant record; but phone and yes, even snail mail is OK], we'll research it and see if we can help.

What of you are out of an item I need?

Smiley  Heaven forbid!!  Smiley Well............ we have to admit it happens once in a while despite our best efforts. If that happens and the shortage is $5.00 or more, we will automatically back order the item for you and ship it as soon as it comes in.

(Please note however, we do not backorder if the value of the shortage is $5 or less).

Can I use the molds for hard candy or other materials?

The molds in our Catalog are designed for temperatures to 150oF. This means they can be used for chocolate, soap, and other materials that do not melt at higher temperatures (like plaster, for example).  You cannot use these molds for hard candy, which melts at a much higher temperature (like 300oF). Do not despair!  We DO carry molds which can be used up to 325oF, for hard candy. Our candy mold page has information and links to many different kinds of molds. Candy Molds  

 

I want a mold but it's not in your catalog, can you get it?

We will try our best to locate a mold for you. Just let us know what it is you need by email, phone or snail mail. Custom molds can also be manufactured.

How do you ship? How can I get it the fastest way possible?

Our standard method of shipment is via UPS or USPS. If you have special requirements or needs let us know what they are. We can ship next day air, which is usually the quickest possible delivery. There is an extra shipping cost for premium (such as next day) service. If you specify "ship fastest way" with your order we will choose the best method for your location. You will always be advised of shipping costs for expedited deliveries, for your approval, prior to us making the shipment. See FAQ "How long will it take to get my order" for more information.  Also if you click on the "Ordering Info." button on the left side of one of our web pages you can get more details.

This web stuff is new to me. How do I get around your site?

 Our site has well over 200 individual pages and yes, it can be a little confusing..........but don't worry, it's about impossible to get really lost! The method that's right for you depends on your goal. If you are simply looking for something, either very specific, or even somewhat general, you should try any of 4 techniques: topic buttons, hyperlinks, site index or search tool. These are all explained under the FAQ "How do I find what I'm looking for". For that answer just click here ==> Finding Something On the other hand if you are just fishin' we recommend starting at the Home page [or the page that you go to when you first enter Candyland] & click from place to place by reading what's on that page and then clicking to go to the next one that is of interest to you. All pages have many links to many other pages........the worst thing that can happen is you need to get back to the beginning again..............just click on the Home button! Also, keep in mind that your browser has a "back" button. This comes in very handy when you are on a page, and decide you want to go to one you just left but can't remember what it was called. Most browsers allow you to go back to many previous pages.

Can I order something from the Wilton Catalog?

The answer is: Yes. We carry 90+% of the Wilton product line. Book On our home page click on the red button in the middle of the page that says Order Form. You then will be directed to an order form page. When you enter the items you want simply say: Wilton Catalog #xxx-xxxx and the description of the item[s]. For pricing use the prices in the (current) Wilton Catalog.

 

Do you ship outside of the continental United States?

Absolutely. We regularly ship to many different countries all around the world. We will get the actual shipping costs [since we can't determine that in advance], and send you an email before we charge you and ship the order.
