Nonpareils are a decorative confectionery of tiny balls made with sugar and cornstarch,
traditionally an opaque white but now available in many colors. These tiny balls of sugar
add a nice crunch and texture to your cupcakes or on the sides of macaroons.
Non-pareils used to be the most popular decorette but has been since overtaken by
“sprinkles”
